Our purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how our visitors use its website. From time to time, we may release non-personally- identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

- Certain visitors to Parcel-it’s websites choose to interact with us in ways that requires us to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that we gather depends on the nature of the interaction. Specific information that we gather can be categorized as follows
- Location: When using the Services for dispatches/delivery, we collect precise location data about the dispatch request from the Parcel-it app used by the user and rider. If you permit the Parcel-it app to access location services by enabling this function from your mobile, we may also collect same location data when the app is running in the background.
- Transaction: We collect transaction details related to your use of our Services, including the type of service requested, date and time the service was provided, amount charged, distance traveled, and other related transaction details such as receiver’s or sender’s details and that of anyone else involved in the transaction. Additionally, if someone uses your promo code, we may associate your name with that person.
- Call and SMS Data: Our Services facilitate communications between Users and Drivers. In connection with facilitating this service, we receive call data, including the date and time of the call or SMS message, the parties’ phone numbers, and the content of the SMS message.
- Log Information: When you interact with the Services, we collect server logs, which may include information like device IP address, access dates and times, app features or pages viewed, app crashes and other system activity, type of browser, and the third-party site or service you were using before interacting with our Services.
– Aggregated Statistics
Parcel-it may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its website and/or users of its services. We may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, we do not disclose your personally-identifying information. Instead, it is done for the purpose of maintaining and developing our website.
To enrich and perfect your online experience, Parcel-it uses “Cookies”, similar technologies and services provided by others to display personalized content, appropriate advertising and store your preferences on your computer.
Those who engage in transactions with Parcel-it – by purchasing our services or products, are asked to provide additional information, including as necessary the personal and financial information required to process those transactions. In each case, we collect such information only in cases where it is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with Parcel-it.
We do not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described earlier above. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.

How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information upon registration, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for reasons, like social sharing features as it enables us update users and to share our activities with your friends/ followers and sending information/ commercials of interests to you such as products, services, news and Parcel-it events. Protecting your personal information.
To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted and this payment is powered by/through paystack. You can read their privacy policies, as they take on extra precautions to protect your data. Using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with an AES-256 encryption.
The security of your Personal Information is important to us but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security but we follow all security requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law enforcements when required to do so or in cases when our Terms of Service are violated.

Parcel-it discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations that

Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country; by using Parcel-it’s services, you consent to the transfer of such information to them. We will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone.

By using our services of visiting our platforms, you represent that you are at least the age of maturity in your state or and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use our services.
